Bottled water can eff itself. I think it's absurd to have to pay over a dollar for WATER. And what's even worse, that water is no cleaner than what you get from a water fountain. There are no laws regulating bottled water's purity or standards. So they could be giving you toilet water, for all you know.
I always talk myself out of buying clothes for myself. Even when I am given birthday or Christmas money and I know I need clothes - I end up spending it on necessities or stuff for the kids.
One of each for me:
Wrapping paper - Really? I'm going to spend a lot of money strictly so someone can rip it off, crumple it up and throw it away? At least gift bags can be reused.
Good guacamole - period.
will sell my left arm for great sheets and towels and running socks.
hate spending money on makeup, toilet paper and batteries.
I will spend all kinds of money on yoga pants and hoodies for myself. Yet a pair of jeans? Painful.
I hate spending money on the dentist. Seems like such a scam. Aside from the teeth-not-falling-out-from-rot thing.
And lightbulbs. I like light. I like all the fixtures to work. Yet. Bulbs. Just. No.
I agree with the mochas, but not the cute kitty sweaters. No, ma'am. Haircuts can cost 3 billion dollars as far as I'm concerned. The more expensive, the better! But then I get all stressy when it comes to buying pretty much anything else for myself.
I will happily spend money on cardigans, jeans, shoes, good haircuts and good wine.
I HAAAATE spending money on tires (fist bump!), car repairs of any kind, paper towels and manicures (even though I love them, I just hate spending the dough).
I will pay for good alcohol, dresses, and things that make the girls squeal.
I hate paying money for shoes (although I should) and pants.
I will ALWAYS have Starbucks coffee, organic grass-fed meat, and red wine in the house.
After receiving free Dior makeup for so many years as an artist, I physically can NOT spend money on it. It's painful. WHAT HAPPENED TO MY FREE $55 FOUNDATION?!?!
No bueno for the money spending:
1. gambling, lottery tickets, etc.
2. bottled water
3. individual sized snacks--holy unnecessary packaging, folks..my kid grew up with snack baggies..
4. cheap chocolate
5. anything at an airport
6. expensive scratch pads
No problem, I want that:
1. good gifts for others
2. plane tickets to see loved ones
3. cocktails at warm destinations
4. workout clothes and shoes (Lord, help me)
5. purses
6. outfits for going downtown and being a fun adult
I don't buy expensive bottle water, but I must have bottled water. When we run out, I go thirsty.
I am boycotting the Housewives because the episodes are now SO scripted, all of the bad acting makes me feel like I am watching bad porn.
OK, my two: I will spend money on anything running-related but hate spending money on makeup and on-running shoes.
I have a near physical inability to spend money on shipping. Car maintenance and sneakers are also not fun for me to pay for.
I spend lots of money on makeup and hair stuff without batting an eye, though.
So funny! I was just thinking about this because I simply can't spend the fortune it will cost to get the new bedding set I want.
Hell... I'm cheap on just about everything except perfume, boots and groceries.
Cardigans and Alcohol could be the end of me. I love both. I could also spend my life savings on little girl clothes. They are adorable.
I hate to spend money on tires. Kajunk
